2003 – BRAVE RIB PROTECTOR
The debut on karting world
Young Freeminds is involved by Dino Chiesa, the then team manager of Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton, in a new project of chest protection for karting.
In a few months, the innovative BRAVE rib protector is designed, produced and presented to the public; it’ll bring the partners to be known in the racing world.

The basis and strength of the company is continual research in order to provide innovative products: thanks to the success of the rib protector BRAVE, the “Freem Racing” karting product range is created.
2005 – KARTING SUIT
Presentation of the CIK-FIA
Freem presented the lightest karting suit on the market, the “CIK-FIA”.
Freem created a new necessity with the world’s first customized karting suit and established a new market product.
The teams interested in the brand are more and more and with different needs and requirements.
Maximum customization and lightness are the basic requirements of the perfect suit.
2006 – MOTORSPORT SUIT
The debut on motorport world
Thanks to the business model used, together with the technical competences of the three partners, for the first time the brand got into the motorsport world with high quality and innovative products.
Different tests and analysis of the needs in the racing sector lead in 2010 to the homologation of the new ultra light fireproof suit “TA111 SOFFIO”.

The suits and accessories designed and manufactured by Freem are successful all over the world, so much as to create a network of dealers in all 5 continents.
2019 – K19
New technologies for the racing
Freem introduces the K19 suit, the evolution of the TK 114: the fit and comfort of the suit are improved with the addition of elastic inserts.
For the first time an ice-key device (in case of emergency) is inserted into a racing suit: the driver can save his medical information which can be read in case of emergency with an NFC device.
2020 – A20
FIA 8856-2018 HOMOLOGATION
To meet the strict requirements of the new FIA 8856-2018 standards, Freem studies the A20 suit.
The carrying capacity of the shoulder handles is enhanced, the fit is improved with the addition of stretch panels and the level of safety in terms of protection against flames and heat transmission is highly increased.
Choosing to work mostly on customized requests was the winning move.
The brand still stands for quality: the agreement with Audi Sport and AMG Motorsport brought Freem to be the official protective teamwear in Grandtourisme and Endurance championship. The same process took place in the rally world thanks to the partnership with Skoda Italia, Hyundai and Toyota.
